Vitex lucens, Puriri - Pb6.5

An evergreen native with a shrubby growth habit when young. Has dark, glossy green foliage and produces dull red flowers through most of the year which are then followed by bright, orange-red berries. Plant in full sun or partial shade where soils are rich in organic materials, evenly moist and free-draining. may require shelter when young.

Grows to approximately 15m x 10m.
