Vitex lucens, Puriri 1.2m

An evergreen native, maintaining a shrubby form when young. Has dark, green glossy and produces cup-shaped, dull-red flowers that are then followed by bright orange-red berries. Requires shelter when young, tolerates only mild frosts. Suitable for growing in either full sun or partial shade.

Grows to approximately 10m x 8m.
