Quercus ellipsoidalis, Northern Pin Oak - Pb28 (150/200)

Also known as Hill's Oak. A hardy, deciduous tree with deeply cut, dark green foliage that turns red to reddish-purple in Autumn. Best grown in poor, sandy soils and tolerates strong winds and dry conditions. Provides good shade during Summer months.

Grows to about 15m x 8m.
