Pomegranate. A deciduous shrub that grows to approximately 2m x 3m. Produces a mass of ruffled, bright scarlet-orange flowers from late Spring followed by the round fruit that are red and yellow when full ripe and ready to harvest. Best grown in a sunny position and they adapt to most types of soil that are free-draining. Self-fertile.
