Ptisana salicina, King Fern - 2.4Ltr

Better known as the King Fern, Para and Tawhiti Para. It inhabits damp gullies and also thrives in shaded, moist gardens. Frost tender it makes an ideal pot plant but grows quite large with fronds growing up to 5m in length. In the wild, this fern is seriously in decline due to cattle, wild pigs and goats feeding on it. Evergreen native.
