Prunus Amanogawa, Upright Cherry - Pb28 (160/170)

A hardy, deciduous tree with a columnar growth habit. Throughout Spring, the tree is covered in semi-double, white to pink blossom that is lightly scented. Foliage is yellow-bronze when it begins to emerge then becoming mid-green during Summer and finally turning to various shades of orange and red in Autumn. Best grown in full sun where soils are reasonably fertile and free-draining. Ideal for growing as a specimen, planting in small groups or planting out to create an avenue. Tolerates frost, coolclimates and dry periods.

May grow to between 5m and 6m in height and about 2m wide.
