Prumnopitys ferrugineus, Miro - Pb5

Also known as Miro or Brown Pine. A handsome, evergreen tree with bark that is almost black. The fruit attracts the native New Zealand pigeon which gorge on them in late summer. Plant in semi shade and keep moist, will also need protection from frost when young.

Grows to approximately 15m x 6m when mature.
