Plum Double Black Doris/Billington

Plum Black Doris are an excellent all purpose variety. Produces medium sized fruit with purple-black skin and sweet, dark red, juicy flesh. A vigorous tree with an upright growth habit and they are a mid-season variety.

Plum Billington is an early season variety producing medium sized fruit with a good flavour. An all-purpose plum with red flesh and dark red skin.

Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are moist especially during the growing season and when in fruit, reasonably fertile and free-draining. Prune as required or may be trained as an espalier.

May grow to between 5m and 6m in height.
