Plum Double Billington/Omega

Save room in the garden with two varieties of Plum grafted to create one tree. Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are evenly moist during the growing season and when if fruit, fertile and free-draining. Prune as required.

Billington is one of the first plums to ripen producing heavy crops of dark red fruit with red flesh that is sweetand with good flavour. Am all purpose variety that is self-fertile and ready to harvest in late December and into January.

Omega, sometimes referred to as "George Wilson" are another good all-rounder that produces good crops of medium sized fruit with red speckled skin and red, juicy flesh with an excellent flavour. Partiall self-fertile, freestone and a late season variety. Fruit are ready to harvest in and around March.

May grow to between 3.5m and 4.5m in height.
