Phormium tenax, Flax - Tube

Also known as Harakeke. The decorative foliage of this strong growing native makes a real feature. Good for shelter and screening. Very strong and hardy, tolerates wet conditions and is ideal for growing in coastal locations. Flowers from December and attracts nectar-feeding birds. Evergreen.

Grows to about 3m x 2m.
