Phebalium glandulosum is usually a shrub that has stems and leaves that have prominent warty glands. The leaves are linear to cuneate (wedge shaped) from 5mm to 25mm long. The individual pale to bright yellow flowers are five-petalled with long stamens. They are relatively small but they occur in clusters of a dozen or more together and are very conspicuous. Flowering usually occurs in early spring. Plant in a sunny position where soils are moist but free-draining. Grows to between 50cm and 100cm.
