Pennantia corymbose, Bellbird Tree - Pb5

Also known as Kaikomako and Bellbird Tree. A small tree of slender habit with divaricating juvenile form. The mature tree is elegant with white fragrant, flowers the appear in abundance followed by black berries from January through to April. Evergreen and suitable for hedging. Plant in fertile soils that are moist but free-draining in either full sun or partial shade.

Grows to about 8m in height.
