Metrosideros Velvet Sky

Metrosideros Velvet Sky has amazing inky blue stems and beautiful blue velvet foliage, it almost appears as though this Metrosideros has been dyed blue! It has an excellent compact form and its dense growth habit makes it an brilliant choice for hedging. It produces beautiful coral-red staminate flowers that contrast with its blue foliage - new growth has a distinct dusting of metallic navy blue over young leaves and stems. For even more vibrant blue stems, plant in a lightly shaded area.

Full sun to light shade. Grows to 2-3 high and 1-3m wide, in cooler climates they can be smaller.
