Metrosideros excelsa Fire Mountain

Striking heads of orange-scarlet flowers in early summer. Has a round spreading habit and glossy green foliage. Likes full sun and is tolerant of wind, dry and exposed conditions. Ideal for coastal planting and areas with poor soil. Hardy once established but will need protection from frosts when young.

Grows to between 7m to 10m both in height and width.
