Kaitaia Gold fruit and foliage are larger than other varieties of Loquat, fruit ripening in spring. Prefers either full sun to semi-shade in moist, fertile and well drained soil. Only tolerates light frosts. Looks good as a specimen plant as an espalier. Sub-tropical and semi-evergreen.
May grow to between 5m and 6m over 10 years.
