Lapageria rosea Nash Court, Chilean bellflower

A beautiful climbing plant from Chile producing pendulous bells of waxy, soft crimson flowers from summer to autumn. 'Nash Court' is one of the oldest cultivars, flowers are long and less flared. Floiage is a glossy, leathery dark-green. 

Roots need to be planted in well drained lime free soil, that is shaded. The top needs to be in semi-shade and cool. Keep watered in summer. Only tolerates light frost. Evergreen.
