Has spineless evergreen foliage with attractive purple-green stems. From autumn and through winter the rich green foliage is accompanied by really profuse red berries that attract birds and is ideal for growing as hedges. Prefers full sun or partial shade in moist but well drained soil and will tolerate coastal conditions.
