New foliage emerges purple in colour then becoming green as it matures with purple undersides. A mass of purple flowers appear in summer and through autumn. Grows best in either full sun or partial shade in free-draining soils. Grows to approximately 1.5m x 2m and tolerates exposed and coastal situations. A hardy, evergreen shrub.
