A deciduous shrub grown mainly for the Goji berries that they produces. Has small, tubular, pale lilac to pale purple flowers from late Spring, early Summer. These are then followed by the berries that are bright orange-red when fully mature in Autumn. These berries have a mild, sweet, liquorice flavour and may be eaten fresh or dried. Thrives in full sun where soils are moderately fertile and free-draining.
May grow to about 2.5m x 3.5m.
