Dicksonia fibrosa, Wheki Ponga - 7Ltr

Better known as Wheki-ponga, Ponga and Tree Fern. Slower growing than D. squarrosa and has a thicker, fibrous trunk. Can be grown in a sunny or lightly shaded location where soils are moist but free-draining and rich in organic matter. A hardy, evergreen native that tolerates light to moderate frosts.

May grow to a height of 6m with fronds spreading to about 4m.
