Curcuma longa, Turmeric - 2Ltr

Herbaceous perennial with foliage looking similar to that of a Canna lily and producing cream-white and yellow flowers appearing in late Spring, early Summer. When the foliage begins to dry out, the rhizomes can be harvested and used forculinary purposes. They grow well in either full sun or partial shade where soils are constantly moist during the growing season, organically rich and free-draining.

May grow to between 1.2m and 1.5m both in height and width.
