Corylopsis spicata, Spike Winter Hazel - Pb6.5

Also known as Winter Hazel.A hardy deciduous shrub bearing fragrant,pale lemon-yellow flower's with burgundy coloured anther's that begin to appear in mid to late winter.Likes full sun and partial shade growing to between 1.5m and 2.5 m.Plant on it's own as a feature/specimen plant or may be used to form hedges and screen's.Requires humus rich soil that is moist but free-draining.Any pruning should be done immediately after flowering.
