Cornus kousa Southern Cross - Pb18

Japanese Dogwood. Large creamy white flower bracts begin to emerge in late spring and early summer, followed by small red fruit eaten by birds. Provides excellent autumn colour with tones of burgundy and red. A hardy, deciduous shrub that grows well in full sun or partial shade requires moist, free-draining soil. Excellent as a feature/specimen plant growing to a height of about 2.5 metres.
