Japanese Dogwood. A hardy,disease-resistant, deciduous shrub that produces deep pink flower bracts in late spring, early summer, dark green foliage turning to shades of orange and red in autumn. Grows to a height of between 4 and 4.5 metres and prefers either full sun or partial shade in moist but free-draining soil. An ideal feature/specimen plant with small strawberry-like fruit that attracts birds.
