Japanese Dogwood. A hardy, deciduous tree with a reasonable growth rate with a vase-shaped growth habit. Produces large, ivory-white flower bracts from early Summer, followed by strawberry-like fruit, which attract birds. Lush, green foliage that turns to various shades of burgundy, purple, red during Autumn. Thrives in either full sun or partial shade where soils are suitably moist, rich, and free-draining.
