Flowering Dogwood. A small tree/large shrub with branches covered in pink, four-petalled flowers in spring, then followed by strawberry-type fruit, which are often eaten by birds. The mid-green coloured foliage becomes various shades of orange, purple and red in autumn. Plant in a sunny position in soil that is rich in organic matter, moist and free-draining. Hardy, deciduous.
Grows to about 4m x 3m.
