Brunia stokoei - Pb6.5

Also known as Red Coffee Bush. Brunia stokoei is an upright, resprouting shrub, which grows to a height of 2m. The needle-like leaves are glabrous (smooth), stalkless, 8mm to 10mm long and have an evident mid vein underneath. The red flowers are borne in flower heads 15mm across and appear in early to mid-summer. Grow in full sun where soils are well-drained. Evergreen.
