Blackberry Thornless

This true blackberry of Europe forms a hardy, moderate-sized bush with thornless canes making it great for the home garden. Produces white flowers in summer followed by very sweet edible black or dark purple berries in late summer. 

Reputedly an excellent variety for blackberry wine, jams, jellies, pies and eating fresh.

Prefers full sun and well-drained, neutral or slightly acidic soil. Grows to approx 2m.

Rubus fruticosus, Blackberry Thornless. Other common names include Chester or Thornless Evergreen.
