Beaucarnea recurvata, Pony Tail Palm

Better known as the Pony Tail Palm and are perfect for the tropical garden. They have a swollen base and an erect trunk which branches with terminal tuffs of strap like leathery leaves. Excellent in a spot in the garden or as a specimen plant in a pot, may also be grown as an indoor plant. Protect from heavy frosts.
