Has a spreading, open growth habit. Evergreen.Hass is an "A" flowering variety where the female flowers open in the morning and the male flowers open in the afternoon. Pollination takes place when the opening of male and female flowers overlaps.

Avocado Hass grows to between 4m to 8m requiring a warm, sheltered' frost free position in full sun with well drained soil rich in organic material.
