Apricot Double Sundrop/Newcastle

Sundrop is an excellent cropper producing large, yellow skinned fruit that are freestone with a sweet and juicy flesh. Can be eaten fresh or used for preserving. Partially self-fertile  and suitable for growing in most regions. Plant in a sunny position where soils are fertile and free-draining.

Newcastle is a popular variety that produces heavy crops of medium sized fruit. Golden yellow in colour with a light red blush. Has a sweet, apricot flavour and is ideal for eating fresh or used for desserts. Has a vigorous growth habit with a low chill requirement and is suitable for warmer areas. Early season, freestone.
