Apple Calville Blanc D'Hiver - Pb12

An old fashioned French variety that is regarded as one of the best for sauces and baking. Has tender, sweet and spicy flesh, high in vitamin C and an excellent choice in the making of cider. Bears heavier crops when pollinated with another variety of apple such as Cornish Aromatic, Ellison's Orange, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious and Spartan.
