Aesculus flava, Yellow Buckeye - Pb12

Also known by Common Buckeye, Sweet Buckeye and Yellow Buckeye. A deciduous, spreading tree with foliage divided into 5 - 7 leaflets which may become red or yellow in autumn. In early summer pale yellow flowers on upright racemes begin to appear, followed by smooth, roundish fruit that should not be consumed. Best grown in either full sun or partial shade, tolerates most soil conditions that are moist and free-draining.

Grows to about 12m x 8m.
