Acer caudatifolium, Snakebark Maple - Pb6.5

Also known as Kawakami Maple. A small, attractive spreading tree, with snake skin bark. It is fast growing, wind hardy and tolerant of drought. Has lush green foliage in summer which then becomes a brilliant red colour in autumn. Plant in a sunny position where soils are moist but free-draining.

May grow to about 12m x 6m.
