Acer Beni Hime - Pb28

One of the smallest forms of A. palmatum, this is a wonderful and rare cultivar. The fingernail-sized red foliage makes the plant especially good for bonsai, and the tree makes an unusual item in the garden. Most maples have large foliage displays that can only be made small with trimming. This is a cultivar that stays tight in growth habit, yet it can be very vigorous, making an excellent specimen plant quickly.
